The SBF Steering Committee on April 13, 2012 approved the release of $100,000 in available funds for the following category:

  • Marketing/Community Benefit Fund $100,000

                    GRANT OPENING DATE:  Wednesday, April 18, 2012

                    GRANT CLOSING DATE:  Friday, May 18, 2012

A MANDATORY grant information workshop will bel held on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the City of Oroville Centennial Cultural Center located at 1931 Arlin Rhine Memorial Drive, Oroville . CA 95965. Please call (530) 538-2535 to reserve a spot at the workshop.

2011 Notice of Funds Available & Grant Guidlines

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  The correct date for the submittal of the completed application is Thursday, June 16, 2011.  The date was stated correctly on all documents EXCEPT on page 6 of 7 of the Project Application Form.

The SBF Steering Committee approved the release of $235,000 in available funds for the following categories:

  • Large Project Fund:                                $175,000
  • Revolving Loan Fund:                              $ 20,000
  • Marketing/Community Benefit Fund:    $ 40,000

A grant information workshop will bel held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. in the City of Oroville Council Chambers located at 1735 Montgomery Street, Oroville . CA 95965. Please call (530) 538-2535 to reserve a spot at the workshop.

Whitewater Study (DWR/December 2009)

As part of the Settlement Agreement the Department of Water Resources (DWR) agreed to prepare a Whitewater Study (Feather River Whitewater Boating Opportunity Feasibility Study).  The final report was issued on December 30, 2009.  Please open each of the following bullet points for detailed information about the final study.
