The Oroville Redevelopment Agency's Front Yard Landscape Improvement Program has been established to improve neighborhoods, expand employment opportunities, create new private investment and create physical, economic, social, and environmental conditions that remove and prevent the recurrence of blight within the Oroville Redevelopment Agency Project area.

QUALIFYING CONDITIONS:
      Family gross annual income may not exceed the Butte County area median income by the following:

1	$45,840	Loans are based on total household income and family size. Families earning up to 120% of area median income may qualify for a maximum loan of $4,500.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
      • The property must be within the Oroville Redevelopment Project Area or                areas outside the project area located within the City limits of Oroville.

      • The front yard landscape improvement program is restricted to
         single-family, owner-occupied units, and duplex units with individual
         ownership.


REPAYMENT CONDITIONS:
      • Loans shall become due and payable upon the
         transfer or sale of the borrower's interest in the
         property, change of use from residential to
         commercial, a non-compliance with the Oroville               Redevelopment Agency Plan and Housing
         Development Program, or if the property is no
         longer occupied by the borrower and/or is being
         rented.

      • The loan will be evidenced by a Promissory Note executed by the borrower          and will be secured by a Deed of Trust.

      • No interest, deferred payment, with a loan term not to exceed fifteen
         (15) years.
