Overview
      The City of Oroville Business Assistance and Housing Development Department may be able to assist you with a LOW INTEREST HOUSING REHABILITATION LOAN.

      If your house is located within the Oroville Redevelopment Agency and/or City limits and your income is less than 120% of area median income; you may qualify for a Housing Rehabilitation Loan. The Oroville Redevelopment Agency Housing Rehabilitation program is in compliance with the Federal Fair Housing Law (The Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988).

      The Oroville Redevelopment Agency has Housing Set-Aside funds available to make home repair loans. The funds are available to property owners to assist in the elimination of slum and blight, and to promote safe and sanitary living conditions. This loan offers:

           Three-percent interest rate

           Flexible repayment plans dependent upon your ability to repay

           Loan repayment may be deferred for five year periods

           Senior and disabled can defer loans until the title is transferred.

           No pre-payment penalty for early pay-off
