The Ron Harmon Mine is a gravel and fill dirt mine located at the intersection of Ophir Rd and Baggett-Marysville Rd. The original use permit was approved on November 12, 1996 and was extended in 2016 to allow the mine to operate until November 12, 2021. The applicant has prepared an updated reclamation plan to reflect changes in state legislation and has requested an extension of the use permit to allow the mine to continue to operate.

The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing, reviewed and approved the amendment to the Use Permit on 10/28/2021.
