Current Projects

Below is a list of development projects available for public review and for information purposes. 

Potential Thermalito Annexation

The City of Oroville held a neighborhood meeting/public forum at the City Council Chambers, 1735 Montgomery St, on September 22, 2020 to discuss the possibility of annexing Thermalito. In addition to in-person attendance, the meeting was available for attendance via Microsoft Teams and live streamed on the City's YouTube page. This meeting was to present information and answer any questions residents might have regarding annexation.

The Village at Ruddy Creek (TSM 20-01, GPA 20-02, ZC 20-02, & Annexation)

The Village at Ruddy Creek is a proposed 97-lot subdivision at the southeast corner of 18th Street and Feather Avenue. The project was originally approved by the Oroville City Council in 2007 as a 172-lot subdivision but the project was never annexed and constructed. The applicants are now looking to revive the project at a smaller scale with 97 homes.

Riverbend Family Apartments Phase 1 (DRC 20-01)

The Riverbend Family Apartments is a proposed 72-unit affordable housing complex at the southwest corner of Table Mountain Blvd and Nelson Ave. The complex will include several amenities, such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, half basketball court, dog park, and a tot lot. This project is the first phase of an ultimate 120-units proposed by AMG & Associates.

This project was approved by the Planning Commission on January 23, 2020

 Riverbend Family - SITE RENDERINGS

Oroville Veterans Village (TSM 20-02, GPA 20-03, ZC 20-04, PD-O) - 711 Montgomery St

The Oroville Veterans Village is a proposed 12-unit development at 711 Montgomery St, located on the south side of Montgomery St between 6th Ave and 7th Ave. The project involves the development of 12 townhomes, developed in 4 units of 3 each, to be sold to veterans and their families.
