The successful candidates will be required to complete and file an annual Statement of Economic Interest – Form 700.
The City of Oroville Park Commission was established to oversee and manage the municipal park system. To do so, the Commission is conveyed special authority and responsibility by the City Charter. The Commission consists of five members to be appointed by the Council each to serve for a term of five years, without compensation.
ESTABLISHED: City Charter – Article X Section 1 – Park Commission
COMPOSITION: 5 Members – City Residents Only – Appointed by City Council
TERM OF OFFICE: 5 Year Terms
MEETING: 2nd Tuesday bi-monthly (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec ) at 5:15 p.m. (or on an as needed basis) – City Hall
