 How to file a complaint

• To file a complaint online, complete the code enforcement investigation request form, once completed email the form to code-violation@cityoforoville.org
• To file a complaint in person, please visit City Hall at 1735 Montgomery St to complete the complaint investigation request form and turn in finished form to staff.
• To file a complaint via mail please print, complete and mail the form to City Hall or fax to (530) 538-2426

Please note that all complaints are confidential and are essential for beginning the investigation process. 

Overview

• Addresses all code violations, including zoning, code and conditional use permit violations;
• Interfaces with the general public to address their concerns regarding code issues and violations;
• Causes the removal of abandoned and inoperable vehicles;
• Causes the cleanup of blighted properties; and
• Coordinates special community cleanup projects, and
• Encourages responsible property maintenance
