The Citizens Oversight Committee was established to provide oversight of Measure U, to ensure that the money collected through Measure U is spent wisely and is in compliance with the intent of the measure. The Committee will provide budget recommendations to council and meet quarterly to review financial statements. To see a full list of duties view the bylaws below. The committee is comprised of nine (9) citizens and two (2) council members. After the initial appointment of committee members which happened in May 7, 2019, citizens will be appointed to serve for 4 year terms.
This committee meets Quarterly on the 4th Tuesday of the Month at 6:00pm.
